What went wrong for Hillary Clinton?

Mild Rebuttal...perhaps a 4 out of 10. Anyhow this argument has gone off topic far too much! Either way it should be an exciting race from now on until November. -
What went wrong for Hillary Clinton?

the fact of the matter is, bush cheney 04, that under your brilliant leaders, the housing market in the united states has dropped a whopping 18%, thats a larger drop than at the lowest point of the great depression in 1932 when it was 10.5% and some prospects have the total cumulative drop estimated at 26% by the time everything is said and done, couple that with oil that has risen to over $130 a barrel and a national tax refund program that is not expected to perform any of its intended tasks as a hefty majority of receivers of said checks will be using said monies as either savings or minor debt repayments (and to preemptively rebut your contention that paying off debt is economic stimulus in and of itself, i hardly see $300-$600 checks solving loans on entire homes). if you truly wish against a president who is not so presumptuous as to assume he has economic expertise i would AT LEAST change your name to mccain 08. as for values and actions? you speak of supporting a candidate who has actively sought the support of pastors who have unequivocally blamed american tragedies such as katrina and 9/11 on abortionists and gay rights activists (reverend right may have said america's chickens have come home to roost and 'god damn' america, but at least these statements were rooted in some sort of factual evidence sighting that the blundering foreign and domestic policies regarding essentially any other race except whites has been nothing short of horrifyingly detremental and thus hate-inducing in various communities and societies moreover). your current favored administration is all for breaking numerous civil and human rights acts in the name of 'security.' bush/cheney represents nothing but a couple of old men who enjoy overseeing s&m practices performed on prisoners held captive under little to no supporting evidence. mccain seems to value whichever political move will swing the greatest amount of voters his way, be they independents or conservatives, he will do whatever is necessary to try and acquire such votes, and has thus far shown himself to be quite inconsistent in doing so, not unlike john kerry in 2004. values and actions are also not exactly what i would use to describe mccain, as he opposes the gi bill which would provide military personnel with access to better secondary education. why do this? well, it would seem that the 16% loss in soldier retention (which would actually be offset by 16% exactly with new recruits signing up as a result of this new bill) would amount to fewer troops in the minds of some. so what point is mccain making? he is essentially saying that "we need to keep the troops stupid and helpless enough to have no other choice but to stay in the army." some values from a man who wears his service on his sleeve proudly. wait for a mccain presidency, and see if he doesnt only turn his back on the troops' wellbeing but also on the anti-torture values he so adamantly stands by. finally, the reason you say you don't want a president who thinks he is any sort of economist is because you are grasping on to a sickly weak argument. while mccain has made light of his economic shortcomings, jesting that his economic knowledge is struggling with even reading alan greenspans memoirs, barack obama has surrounded himself with actual economists helping him to assemble a coherent, solid economic policy proposal for his presidential bid. mccain likes to laugh it off while obama takes action. obama values knowledge and action as is clearly evident. so sir, you can stand on your soapbox and cry foul all you wish. you can look to past victories and the outstandingly different circumstances of john kerry and michael dukakis, but the fact of the matter is, that mccain not only is far more similar to the aforementioned two but has even been dismissed as a losing candidate by one of the some outspoken and corrupt conservative figures of all: rupert murdoch, rush limbaugh, anne coulter et al. he is an idiot candidate who cannot even get one of the most submissive party bases behind him. quoting bill clinton in saying that "democrats like to fall in love and republicans like to fall in line" it would seem that the tide is indeed turning. -

This isn't even an attack bush/cheney...but you have "economics trumps virtue" if i'm not mistaken...and McCain knows very little of the economy...is that not a little bit counter-productive? -

Furthermore- Clinton is an example of what America was entirely founded against - Familial aristocracy ruling a country. That’s why it’s not part of a commonwealth and that’s why it has no King/Queen etc. The Bush/Clinton Monarchy needs to be stopped once and for all. Here’s the thing about Clinton: She’s more of a Republican than even McCain, except on universal healthcare. She only Panders to the white working class vote, shes in bed with big business, has earmarked over $300 million in useless government spending, promises no diplomacy and nuclear action against Iran (she’ll pull the troops out of Iraq alright, right into Iran). Not that McCain is much better (I’m voting Obama, but no Hillary is still a win in my book). It’s not about race or gender, it’s not about Republican or Democrat (well it kind of is), but more importantly it’s about the state of America right now. The reason America has had so much trouble overseas, the reason 9/11 happened, the reason we are losing friends, is because of our foreign policy and because of our image. I live in Canada as an American citizen and am getting sick of being ashamed of my citizenship. Hillary won’t help this. Obama will be a major facelift to our foreign policy and international image. Internally, he has the most thorough and reliable economic policy and while his healthcare program isn’t perfect, it’s a step in the right direction. Clinton is just another political pawn working for an oligarchic family/families (don’t be fooled - the Bushes and the Clintons are quite fond of one another) and in bed with big business. "the only good Clinton is No Clinton" -
