Depends on who you ask. I must admit I do think it would be wicked awesome if a woman won, if only to piss off some people .

Jefferiah, No..if you reread my post I said that I dont neccessarily think it is pointless and silly to say that you are proud to be anything...provided that you understand you would be equally as proud to be whatever race(s) you were born, no matter what they happened to be ....and provided that you understand that any other race might feel the same pride for the race(s) they are born into, simply because they were born into them and have knowlege and thus appreciation for their race(s).

Actually to have pride in your race is a silly or perhaps pointless thing. Would you just as proud to be Black or Asian if you were born either? Or if you were born both? Most likely. Why be proud of what race you are? Is it really because it is a better race or is it because it is all you know and what you know of best? If you sincerely think it is because it is better than I would say you are racist-and ignorant. If you understand it is only because it is what you know of best, and so are able to appreciate it more, then you should also realize you would feel the same about any other race or races you were born into. In which case it is not racism at all but just an appreciation for who you and an understanding of an appreciation of the other races around you. As well as an understanding and appreciation that they should all be equally "proud".

Your mom's house. But anyway, fact is, is it just a little more "scary" for the most part shall we say, to hear some white guy say he is proud to be white. When you hear a black guy say it, it naturally comes with other connotations.

Im not sure if it would be easier but it would be easier for kids to not succomb to the peer pressure.

Prove to me why I should care? It is not going to affect me or my kids or my kids kids or my kids kids kids so much that I should even think about it. So who cares? Seriously?
