Gee ... I guess your approach doesn't work.
No approach works - kids - young adults..and so on are going to do what they are going to do no matter what....be a control freak such as myself and learn - that letting nature take it`s course is ultimately the way to go - I can`t save the world - let alone my offspring - let alone myself....now back to Occpation of buisness districts....all it will do is make the high and mighty feel even MORE important - The BAY STREET gang were full of joy when they saw all that attention sent their way during the G 20 - what do you think they were thinking....that they had better be more kind...................... NO they were thinking that they were the elite and they could send the cops in to beat the shit out of you and that is what they did - live with it.

Does anyone ever wonder if our judical system intentionally bring us harm......seems that is what happens - for instance you ask the simple question - Is this ruling good for people or bad for the people................helping someone commit incrimental slow motion suicide is not harm reduction - it is assistance......BAD....just plain destructive - and imagine they use your hard earned money to harm you...kind of weird ....

It did not matter much in the long run - the rest of my family - got degrees --- they did well - materially ---- but in the end - My millionare brother`s son killed himself - My careerist sister aborted all of her kids - and now is some sad old lady living alone - NO - the great promise of liberation and success through formal conditioning might not be all that it is cracked up to be --- as for me - I had a lot of fun...I worked phyiscally at times - and other times got paid for doing what I enjoyed ------------ It all gets down to freedom - but there is a price to be paid - Like poverty in the end....some can make the best of it - and others can not...I am a suvivor....education does not ensure survival.

Used the same approach to radio talk show hosts when I was bored -----eg...`I.ve got you on that one Michael - oh yes I have and you can`t squirm away ----------------talk show guy: `no you don`t -----------Me ooooh yes I do` The host would fall apart...mean while I was not winning the debate - just stating that I was..which is what this guy just said to you - thinking or stating something does not make it manifest into reality....like saying that Munroe has come out of the crip and is going to kiss me - simply NOT going to happen...

I just love that story, as I can relate to vacuum tubes. There used to be tube testers in stores where you would set some dials, heat 'em up, and hope for the best. Tubes (or valves in the UK) are/were real, and you had to take care of them like pets until they died. I think the Russians and Poles still make them.
Guitar players still look for tube amps...they say they have a "warmer" sound. Like turn tables - the kids are re-discovering dis recordings...------------yah - tubes if you took one out you would wrap it like a baby in swaddling clothes....there was a mystery to them - the blue glow..that made you wonder how they worked...and of course they practiced self defence - If you touched one it would burn you.. Now back to face book....I hate the thing - and wish I could remember my pass word to get rid of it....do I really want to hear about Crystals new apartment in New York....I will never meet dear Crystal - and the people who are on face book who live around the corner - I never see them....out side....NEVER...

Any time human beings cluster into insect like collectives - be it unions or corporations...evil always emerges - with mob mentality no matter how seemingly sophisticated - the moral compass goes wild...a beast forms and beasts are strong - but have no real central mind - which makes them extremely dangerous and destructive - They just can't help it - nature and natural clusters and collectives are always evil....it's normal...but not good.

I don't understand and I don't care...this complex stuff is beyond me..What I find about things that go over my head is that they were never meant to be in my head to begin with. Unions are not spiritual movements similar to Christian benevolence - they are material movements - EXACTLY like corporations....difference between a union member and middle and upper management in a corporation - is the accident of birth and privledge - Unionist want what others were born with..be it wealth or talent - but somethings are not transferable.

He's not nervous - anymore that a homo-phobe is fearful...some things - some people just find useless and unpleasant - when has armed conflict or un-armed protestation accomplished anything lasting - One over throws the other and the other over throws them back - It's a vicious cycle.....YOUTH seem to think that they have all the answers - so did the old at one time - welcome to the club of eternal disappointment.

When a person changes for the better - eveyone they touch will also change - like charity - It begins at home.....as that guy said - Faith is like a tiny mustard seed....it grows into a full bush where many birds can happily perch....You can not through force of will change others - society does change - one person at a time - I know a rock band with a great name "single file to freedom" - that says it all - you rule by example - not by intimidation - what good does it to to intimidate a corporation that intimidates you...it's called a never ending struggle - who needs that?

Touche...like I've said before, you should write for television. Toyota is running a series of clever ads that employ your very point...kids living in an online world while their boomer parents enjoy reality. I guess that sells cars.
All I know is that when my kid doesn't do his chores, a simple loss of power to the cable modem and router brings instant compliance. He may think I am a dick now, but he will understand later.
Funny back in olden times ----eons ago....If my dad thought we were watching to many episodes of Car 54 - the old black and white would turn to snow ---- Pops would yank out a tube and go hide it... Now here is a good one for you - My youngest son dates a girl from Chile...here mother was Spanish and she herself is insanely jealous - She is for ever braking into my kids Face Book page and telling any female "friends" to get lost...she is fanatical about what takes place in cyber space - I had to take her aside one day and say "Mariana...face book is not real - this (pointing to the floor) is real" -she still does not get it ...and constantly goes crazy by what she views on the screen....it's actually very pitiful....that their real social lives are fading and the artifical one has taken over........I also said to her - My boy can not have sex with the screen - so he is NOT cheating on you - to para phrase.

Rot gut pit fermented Port....they used to sell it at the wine store but- company policy dictated that it was bad for buisness to have unsavoury customers come in -----------so for a while they kept it in the back room...and would sell it to the more presentable alcoholics.....just think of it 18% alcohol per volume ---that's pushing towards 20% ....if you do the easy wino math - one bottle of port is equal to a half bottle of vodka....if you can tolerate the first few guzzles.......now they force the winos to drink that shitty tasting white wine made in Ontario...with half the kick - kind of a rip off for the winos....ehhhhhh.

Compared to the average person - young or old - I am an alien from another dimension....the day I started my quest for the truth - was the day I left planet earth for the earthlings to figure out. Views depend on perception of reality - SOME PEOPLE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.....cos it takes them out of their comfort zone - cows just prior to entering the slaughter house are very comfortable also.... But in the great alternative there are quite a few people who are hard nose realists - but they keep to them selves.

They think "protesting" against corporatism can be done with an iPhone, iPad, and $6 gourmet coffee in hand. Social, political, or economic change means that something has to actually change. Methinks these people actually believe that as long as they appear in a YouTube video, they are making such a change. I would have more respect for a tagger with a can of spray paint.
You have got that right - I see young people tied to face book to the point that the high-def screen is reality and reality is just some bothersome thing you strol through on your way to buy a gram of pot. You know and I know - that what we are doing here for instance is entertainment...It is not the real world....the only way you create change is face to face - flesh on flesh - eye to eye...cos - all that is going to happen to these protestors is that some corporate bureacrate will press the IGNORE button.

People in ONT do not want the truth, they want a greece like life do nothing and get everything. If a leader came out and said we need to cut this and that and the unions need to be brought down a notch, he would not even come close. But are they that6 stupid, I don't know ,but I am betting on hudak with a small majority.
Hope so....last thing we need is a huge committee of left wingers figuring out how to retire at 40 and become consultants in the educational field - specializing in the conversions of "angry" males too soft spoken girls...who will take a female as a life "partner" because they are more manly than the neo-estrogenic guys.

Yep....even NPR regulars were laughing at there list of demands. If these be mostly millennials, they see the big squeeze coming and they are gonna miss out on the gravy train of the past. That's why they are protesting, not because of any fundamental problem with capitalism or corporatism.
I almost feel sorry them...like a game of musical chairs....the music has stopped and they don't have a chair.
The guarentee of secure future through education no longer exists...better to butter up to Uncle Charely and get into the family buisness...nothing wrong with pouring concrete and making an honest dollar...not everyone can be the top dog - the top dog positions are all filled up...gotta wait for the big dog to die - and that could take a long long time - the big dogs say like Dick Cheney have access not just to health care - but to life extension - have fun waiting....or go out and build something - heaven forbid you use your hands .

Unions become who the dispised in time. They are the new establishment - If you can look into Conrad Blacks books - then you can look in the union books - will be surprised - they are just as corrupt as big buisness - cos they are now the nova-big-buisness.

Not at all....remember....there were millions protesting the Iraq War around the world and it ammounted to squat. "Occupy Wall Street" is just a glorified flash mob organized by social media that is already co-opted by corporations. This "movement" has no soul and no passion to compare to Vietnam War protests or the American civil rights movement. These poor bastards are trying to find a cause but won't give anything up to achieve it. Good luck kids...
The old protestors believed in something - if they did not agree with a war and there was a draft - some would do the time behind bars. These young upstarts will do the time at the bar talking big but not willing to put it on the line - main problem is no one knows where the line is - let alone the battle line. What do they expect - rich people hand over their money? Not going to happen.

It's heart breaking that real conservatism has given up the ghost. There was a time when conservatives conserved what was of value- now all they conserve are their postions of power - their money and nothing else - this is their down fall. That they have given up their honour for material dominance...to be powerful one must generate power - not just suck it up uselessly ----"what good is a light when you put a basket over it to preserve it" ---- Conservatism has become like a nuclear power plant - it generates tons of energy but has no wires leading out to light the city - useless - utterly useless - and powerless!

I believe anything that is presented in logic - that is true - that is evident. I might not like it - and could turn away - plug my ears with my fingers and sing --- la la la la...but I don't - It is the duty of every human being at this time to embrace reality and deal with it...if not we are doomed.

It is as if they almost wanted to intentionally lose the provincal election. Out of date methods of manipulating the people through the most base parts of what they supposed was human nature was the provincial conservatives first error that led to a pre-determined and pre-mature defeat.
Hudak went for the emotional jugular right out of the gate. This buisness about putting prisoners to work was the most negative approach to winning the hearts and minds of Ontario voters. The ill advised Hudak should have done some thinking for himself instead of allowing the back room up starts who had learned their political manuvering from their grand fathers...of a by gone era...Hudak should have asked these questions before he blurted out his message of contempt and greed. Who are these prisoners that he was talking about? What group to they primarily belong too?
The answer would have been simple if those who were advising had some common street smarts. These prisoners are disadvantaged and marginalized young black men. The poor - the ignorant - those with little or no opportunity available other than to be frustrated into a life of crime. In other words HUDAK's first message to the public was..."Lets take these blacks and send them back in time too the dark ages of slavery" - The average person is not stupid - even though some might not be able to translate and articulate the Hudak mindset - they did get a sense that there was something amiss..that they were being manipulated by hate - by distrust and a sense of revenge - that could be satisified finacially by - poor blacks locked up in over crowded city jails and federal institutions....working their debt off too society.
It all goes back to the classic out of touch old conservative - who for the most part is a a racist - a money lover...and a quiet punisher of what they consider low life....Hudak and his friends have forgotten - Todays Ontario is not populated by a majority of whites who will state - Lets put the scarey bastards to work - that should teach those uppity gangsters a lesson...mean while - that white majority does not exist - Some of the voters have sons and daughter that are convicts - most are poor - most are un-educated and most need are real opportunity that can only come from high up ...but those high up who handle the likes of Hudak are simply mean spirited - and the public noticed that - through the statements made by Hudak the puppet...to bad - a conservative government in Ontario could have done so much good - but now the worst will rule - all because of the underestimation of human dignity and intelligence - elitism has it's down fall - which we are sadly about to see in the next few days.

If you have not figured this out by now you may as well understand this important life lesson - ALL of those who have put themselvse in a position of authority over Canadians - have one agenda - to gleefully harm society - they get a kick out of it. People that are privledged and mostly rich - are so sick that they think power - is the right to harm...The SCC and others do not empower the population - they disempower it...as we see with this ruling - that's how they stay in power - by systemically taking ours away..............well it's not going to work - rule number one - do not respect them - pretend to but hold those that harm you in contempt - don't believe in them - don't support them - just nod your head in compliance and know that these authoritarians are your abusers..In eccense your enemy.
