  1. Muslims as individuals are ok.  Never had a problem with them.  However, Muslims in groups can be dangerous to their respective host.  Is there any Western Nation that has not been attacked, or been victims of a planned attack by it's Islamic population.  In 2006, Muslims from Toronto had a elaborate plan to blow up the CN Tower, and storm Parliament Hill, and destroy War Monuments. Luckily, the group of 18 was infiltrated before their plan was carried out.

What is wrong with these people anyway?  Every single ethnic group or religious group that have made Canada their home, has tried to make this country better. So have many Muslims.  However, you cannot deny that a small but radical group of Muslims are at any given time, plotting to impose Sharia Law over Canada, or looking at which synagogue to bomb.

A good way to really find out how Muslims feel about us, is tp view how they treat the Jews.  In nearly every country in Europe, Jews cannot wear the Kippah or any other religious symbols, in fear of being beaten in the streets. In France, Jews are leaving the country in droves, out of fear, since the Muslim population is 10 times greater than the Jewish population, an has been terrorizing Jews for nearly 20 years.  The French look the other way, just like they did in World War 2.  The truth is the Muslims who attack Jews efiniately want to attack Christians and other "Infidels" but are prevented from doing so because they are cowards.  After all, it's easier to beat down a man, when you outnumber him 10 to 1, then it is to take on a man one on one.

I'm no fan of Trump, but if it were up to me, I would cap the Islamic population at 5%, then ban them from immigrating.  We need to protect ourselves.  To be honest, I would have said 3.3% but that is the current percentage of Canadians that follow Islam.  I truly believe Islam is incompatible with Western Democracy.

This is precisely why I want to treat you to a delicious meal at Chick-Fil-A When I come to Toronto next spring.

Michael, you are my friend. I would love to discuss political issues with you, while enjoying some delicious, mouth-watering chicken.

That is not established.  At least not the first part.  Too many people I have met... of a certain demographic... assume that their values are just universal, without knowing that they are.

I would eat at Chick-Fil-A, even if I had reservations about their political views.  It all depends on the quality and value of the food.  The same can be said about Nike, who endorses Colin Kaepatrick. If Nike makes the best, most affordable shoes, I will buy them.

Michael, you are overestimating how much the average person cares about a fast food chain's political views.

  5. UPDATE: JESSICA YANIV ARRESTED!!

"UPDATE: According to the National Post, after the Monday afternoon Blaire White livestream in which the prohibited weapon was brandished, Yaniv was arrested and brought to an RCMP holding cell. Yaniv was released Tuesday morning.

Two stun guns, pepper spray, and bear spray were seized from Yaniv’s apartment."

    --------

The National Post is reporting on this as well:

“About three minutes after (the broadcast ended), I have RCMP showing up at my door and putting me into cuffs saying I have a prohibited weapon,” she said in an interview.

She said that after her release from the holding cells and return to her apartment, she called the RCMP back Tuesday morning to report a child sexual exploitation photo that someone had sent her through Facebook messenger.

“It was a disturbing image,” Yaniv said. She urged the RCMP to return to her apartment to take her report and information about the message, she said.

The RCMP detachment in Langley confirmed an arrest and search of a home in the area but could not confirm specific details, charges, timelines or named individuals, said Cpl. Craig Van Herk.

    -----

During the heated YouTube debate, viewed by the Post, White harshly criticized Yaniv’s tactics, actions and appearance and Yaniv said she faces harassment and threats because of the prominence of her trans activism.

“I have to carry pepper spray with me because people are so freaking violent over here,” Yaniv said during the debate.

She then stood up from her seat in front of her computer, rummaged around inside her apartment for a moment before returning.

“I should not have to literally have something like this,” she said. “I don’t need to be scared in my own house.” She then held up a stun gun and zapped it towards the camera, emitting a flash and a crackle.

“Which is illegal in Canada. Just sayin,” she added.

Conducted energy weapons, also known as stun guns or by the brand name Taser, as well as pepper spray are considered prohibited weapons in the hands of the public. She said officers took two stun guns, pepper spray and bear spray from her apartment.

Yaniv, however, said the charge is unfair because she has repeatedly told police about her stun guns and repellent sprays, saying they are for her personal protection.

  6. Breaking news: Police Raid home of "Jessica" Yaniv:

The Post Millennial has confirmed speculation that the Walnut Grove home of Jessica Yaniv was raided by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police last night. The raid follows Yaniv’s explosive live appearance on Blaire White’s YouTube channel, brandishing and demonstrating the functionality of a taser at one point in the debate, and claiming to be fully aware of its illegality. Yaniv also claimed to possess pepper spray.

Yaniv’s discussion of the weapons followed a lengthy racist rant disparaging the East Indian and immigrant communities of British Columbia, asserting “we have f*cked up people who migrate here, who think they can do whatever they want.”

    So?

If you've got any source  that says Chck Fil A isn't growing and expanding, give it - that's how it is in a serious discussion or debate -  otherwise, just zip it.  Don't bother.  Personal opinions are worth squat, and we know why.

    Here, read it, and weep!

I think you misconstrued my post.  I personally don't care about what religious inclinations a restaurant has.  I'm more concerned with value and the quality of food.

Chick Fil A may be hated by the progressives......but, they're still growing and expanding!  That must strike fear into the progressives heart - to see that their mission to sink down Chick Fil A doesn't hurt at all.

What does that mean?  Many, many people think like Chick Fil A, though many of them are silent about it.

It's an article from Vox, what do you expect.

I just keep to myself now tho,  I don't go to bars nor anything like that anymore,  so I don't cause much trouble these days, I'm the Landed Gentry now, so I conduct myself appropriately therein.

Having worked in the Oil an Gas industry, I have experimented with cocaine two or three times in my life.  Never paid for it, just did a line with coworkers. It's not my cup of tea.  I would never touch meth or fentanyl.  The hardest opiate I ever was prescribed was Percocet, and I took as prescribed.  I also hate gambling.

I firmly believe that it's the marginalization of their group.  Not necessarily right wing or left wing, although it seems that left leaning guys are more pliable and more apt to believe that they are shitty, whereas right wing guys are angered by the implications.  This El Paso thing isn't really terrorism (although they'll call it such, just to even out the columns), it's a resentment that certain classes of people are held in such high esteem, while they're told from a very young age they are worthless.

If a girl does poorly in school there is a national inquiry, programs, workshops, Pro-D days and funding to equalize the situation, if guys regress in school, they're told to suck it up or drop out.  Schools do not value guys - not a bit.  Same goes for rape, or any violence associated with guys.  A young white girl will never be without, especially if she puts out a kid or two, a white guy can starve on the side of a street and no one will care.  White guys are supposed to "check their privilege" and do as they're told - politicians will say it all the time.  Now, as far as theses marginalized guys think, "illegals" are now the chosen group.  To a lot of people "diversity" means taking from or leaving white guys behind.

I know for a fact that I wouldn't want to be a young white man in america.

    In America?

It's arguably worse here. I hope you never have the pleasure of experiencing the Canadian Family Law court system.

  11. I just returned from Manitoba after visiting family. Even though.i was born and raised there, Manitoba is the same backwards dump I remember it to be.

I am glad to be back in Alberta, and I am starting to warm up to the idea of Alberta having more autonomy over their affairs. Frustrating to know that the 600 billion or so Alberta has been forced to give in transfer payments, is blown by the have-not provinces.

    Hi,

Does Anybody knows why the Healthcare system is not that good compared in the 90's when Jean-Chretien used to be in power ?

In the 90's the Healthcare system used to be better, you were not waiting that long to see a doctor, nurses were more present to take care of the patients (even if I have to admit that the vast majorities of the nurses are obligated to do overtime if the hospitals ask for it) it was easier and faster to have great healthcare services. What exactly happened ?

    Thank you

In Manitoba I notice the Government is turning all the Hospitals into "Urgent Care" Centres.  This process started nearly 20 years ago, when the Province turned the Misericordia Hospital into a Urgent Care centre.  Now they are doing it to two hospitals in Winnipeg at the same time- Seven Oaks and Concordia.

  15. "The broadcaster is seeking to dismiss the case under Ontario's so-called anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuits against public participation) law. The legislation allows a defendant to ask the court to dismiss a lawsuit if they can show it was initiated to shield the plaintiff from criticism and stymie free speech on a matter of public interest.

"The public interest in protecting the CBC defendants' freedom of expression far outweighs benefits of allowing Subway to proceed with this lawsuit," reads the notice of motion, filed May 31 in Ontario Superior Court.

The motion to dismiss is scheduled to be heard in court on Sept. 24."

This motion would only work, assuming what CBC said was true....
