  1. How pathetic do you have to be to use WorldNetDaily as a source? Most peopole already know you're a naive partisan hack, but using a nortoriously unreliable tabloid as a source should prove it to the 2 or 3 people that didn't already realise how insane you are.
  2. I recall reading that Ontario's recession continued for another 2-3 years after it had ended for the other provinces/states that had previously been performing on par with it. I'll try to find some more precise data when I finish work. While it's not fair to blame Rae for the recession, his track record of mismanagement throughout it didn't help one bit. When he first took over from the Liberals, the yearly deficit was $1b. On his first budget, it was already up to $10b, and by the time he was ousted in 1995, the yearly deficit had reached a ridiculous $17b. Keynesian economics had already been debunked before he even took office, but that didn't stop him from trying to spend his way out of the recession, ultimately paving the way for 2 consecutive Harris terms.
  3. "Equally inane" implies that the idea of associating the Liberals with fraud is just as absurd as the idea of associating the Conservatives with child molestation. What you seem oblivious to is the fact that the association between Liberals and fraud/corruption is based on a series of actual events, whereas the association between Conservatives and child molesting is based on absolutely nothing. Sorry, but these comparisons are not equal in any sense of the word.
  4. Actually, no, it doesn't. The request was based on your usage of the adverb "equally", not my misreading of the adjective you used to describe it. If it is equally inane/insane/preposterous/outrageous - call it whatever you want - then it stands to reason that there should be an equal number of child molestation accusations levied against the Conservatives as there have been fraud accusations levied against the Liberals. Since you have repeatedly claimed this to be case, you shouldn't have any difficulty substantiating it, so let's see that evidence.
  5. If it's "equally insane", then you should have no problem providing one example of a Conservative molesting children for every one example of a Liberal involved in fraud. Let's see some of those examples. It's time to put up or shut up, Gerry.
  6. Interesting that you "remember it" considering it never actually happened. Yup.
  7. And Stan Koebel is the guy who falsified water safety reports to make it look like the water was safe to consume when it wasn't. He's also the guy that filled sample vials with tapwater from his home and submitted them as samples from various water wells around town. He's also the guy who only had the job he did because his union demanded a grandfather system that allowed water utility employees across the province to maintain their positions even if they weren't qualified. And if that wasn't enough, he even admitted during the inquiry that it was all his fault. But hey, let's ignore that and blame Harris instead.
  8. I don't care for Bush, but the CBC is beginning to look more like it's being run by angsty 14 year olds than respectable journalists. I caught a brief segment last week about online companies that offer anonymizing services for the internet, and while showing the layout of one of the websites and how it works, they used "bushsucks" as an example username. The segment had absolutely nothing to do with politics and yet they couldn't resist throwing in a completely unrelated jab at him.
