During the shoot-out, the media in the area were rushing to photograph children and/or get an interview from them during the state of hysteria. Are such horrific events becoming commercialized?

What should the media be doing?

I think the gunman should have left the kids alone. I think religious but bars should leave kids alone. I think pervert priests should leave the kids alone..... The media doesn't concern me as much.

Nuts are going to do what they're going to do, but in a time of unfathomable trauma for those kids, they shouldn't be subjected to having a mic thrust in their faces during and immediately following the event.
