You are quite something Keng. Now you suggest Aras is actually someone else on the forum who criticizes and challenges you and is pretending to be Aras. Not only are you someone who engages in negative generalizations of people and groups to justify hating them, now you engage in conspiracy theories of people in elaborate schemes out to get you.

I am not joking either. Can you write into this forum without using each opportunity to threaten people who will challenge your statements? Is it possible for you to do that or are you so frighteend of people you disagree with you must continually threaten them? Keng's racist comment that Jews are not descended from Adam and Eve is one of many classic anti-semitic references he has engaged in. The blood libel as seen in his last "persecution complex" response engages in the classic blood libel in addition to the other repeated references to all Jews as being hostile to Christians and if given the chance would persecute Christians if they werea majority. His latest references to true Christianity and suggesting other forms other then his own are false should now make it clear to those thinking he is being Christian and advocating Christian beliefs that he is most certainly not. The fact he repeatedly invokes the name of Christ when he makes negative generalizations about Jews, Christians, gays, communists, etc. Jeffer there is a reason he did not state his demonination and respond to me. Well why should I not respond? 1. The yeshiva student who engaged in the spitting attack was taken by his father and his rabbia to the clergyman he spat on and required to apologize. The students who engage in this are ultra-orthodox Jews which of course Buffy did not mention. Ultra-orthodox Jews do not believe in the state of Israel and spit not just at Christians but at Jews and Muslims. You really should not discuss Maritime Law you are making a mess of it. Captains rule ships because unlike being on land, there must be a clear chain of command otherwise a boat can sink. It is no different then what goes on in the air with a pilot. Your analogy that they are dictators is with due respect dumb. Running a ship does not entail democractic meetings. There is a clear expectation when you join a crew there is no democracy, there is a chain of command. It saves lives. It is no different then the fact that armed forces or para-military forces like fire departments and police departments or paramedics or hospital emergency rooms have specific chains of command and procedures. You are trying to make comparisons of situational management issues that are not even close.

See my problem JBG you hoo where are you....is that I don't trust any human with a nuke weapon or for that matter anything nuclear. Humans by our very nature are either nuts or stupid either way, its a bad mix with this stuff. The MAD scenario I don't buy and I will tell you why. Mutual deterrence assumes politicians are sane and logical and react that way under pressure. However we know the exact opposite is the case. Ultimately the decision to use or not use a nuke will come down to someone's emotions and gut. Me no like that idea. Here is my other problem. I doubt once a nuke is used, it ends with that one nuke detonation. There is necessarily a retaliatory strike or what people like me refer to as schizmogenesis, escalating circular responses that escalate the exchange. Finally I hate nukes for this reason-if they exist some terrorist can get their hands on one. Then again from what I hear anyone can make a dirty bomb if they really want to by just going on the inter-net. So no thanks JBG. I prefer dance offs or pie eating contests. Black Dog in direct response to you (given what you told me in another post) and Higgly may I say this from the heart despite our past debates; 1-I really am saddened when people talk of such horrors by comparing them to others as if it is a pissing match to see which one was worse; 2-each genocide is unique and to truly honour and respect its victims should in my opinion not be used generically or in comparison to any other; 3-as a Jew who had relatives die in the Ukraine yes I have bad memories of certain things in Kiev with Nazi collaborators but categorically refuse to let that colour this event that is just wrong; 4-the forced starvation of you say 13 million (I have read as high as 20 million) is a horror and genocide that no words can capture; 5-to me it is inexcusable Stephen Harper did not speak frankly about it and refer to it for what it was a deliberately planned genocide and I think that must have hurt many Ukrainians deeply but it should be something we all should disagree with; 6-for me individually, I must remember it the same way I do the holocaust or the massacres in Kampuchea, Sudan, the forced famines in Iran, the Armenian genocide and so many others-if we do not remember it, it will happen again; To understand the depth of how depraved Stalin was I am afraid also defies human words. To understand just how many he killed, tortured, tormented and the institutions he created and used to administer his hell must be studied so that we can prevent it from happening again.
