It never ceases to amaze me how a government can deceive its electorate and get away with it. This is by no means an American monopoly (see Canada and Liberal Party, the), but I don't understand how a country where they scream blue murder if you try to infringe on their constitutonally-guaranteed right to bear arms can have a 2/3 agreement with a President who violates their constitutonally guaranteed right against illegal search and seizure, just because he says its to "protect us from terrorism".
The Pretender-in-Chief has persuaded his people they're at war, so he can't be criticized, and he's slowly destroying their freedoms in the name of his phony, endless war. History may judge Bush as one of the worst Presidents of all time, but the man sure can sell snake oil.
