  1. As much as it pains me to say it, I think Dalton McGuinty will win one more term- however, I think he will be reduced to a minority government. I don't think Ontario is ready to go back to the PC's, but John Tory will be able to point out all of McGuinty's lies and use them to his advantage. To me, it's the fact of how they turned around our finances after the defecit that Dalton loves to talk about. I will be voting PC, and, lucky for me, my University is right in Dalton's riding of Ottawa South, but sadly, I say he remains premier.
  2. I'll third the comment on the bias
  3. Wow... Way to go Bob! Just makes me dispise the Left even more...
  4. Cost of Election: $277.8 million GST Cut:$4.5 billion Removing the Liberals from Government: Priceless
  5. Ok, now I have a question: What were Rae days? I was two when Rae came to power, and seven when he left, so needless to say, I haven't a clue. Perhaps some of the veterans could help me out?
  6. I think it takes a big person to apologize... A small person finds fault with an apology
  7. You have to love left wing rhetoric. I'd like to remind certain members, who seem to have overlooked the fact that our troops are in Afghanistan, on a mandate given to them by a Liberal government. It's funny how as soon as Stephen Harper took power, the Liberals felt it was time for a debate on the issue. I smell something... I think the Liberals are cooking waffles.
  8. I'm all for it- Rae as leader means a CPC Majority in the next election!
  9. Well, if I were a Harper advisor, I would make sure the PM challenged Klein on this... A chance to defend the "All-Canadian Medicare System" and show that he's in charge. Go for it Harper!
  10. Do I not get to choose what appeals to me and what doesn't? Relaxe dude, I haven't perfected mind my mind control just yet, so for now... Anyways I was just pointing out something that is generally a fact for university students, being that most pay little to nothing in income taxes so tax breaks may not be as benificial in comparison to other things. Am I not allowed to disagree with you? I didn't mean it in any derogatory sense, and my point regarding tax cuts was more pointed towards my parents, who will be bearing the brunt of my tuition fees. I think a little more cash in the bank would help them substantially.
  11. Do I not get to choose what appeals to me and what doesn't?
  12. I would hope she would at least outline what the Government proposes to do on this; she was the former head of the CRTC, so I would think she would find this appalling, and perhaps use some levrage to force some action. I'll see what I can do!
  13. Well, thank you for the kind words tml! I am proud to stand in support of the CPC, and will hopefully one day sit as an MP for the party, and who knows, maybe the Rt. Hon. Josh is in the cards... I live in the grand 'ol riding of Durham, and worked closely with Bev Oda to get her re-elected. Connections to cabinet! WOOT!
  14. If I'm not correct, this would fall under the jurisdiction of Bev Oda, the Minister of Heritage? If so, I must ask her- she's my MP, and I worked on her campaign.
