Could shows such as the Rick Mercer Report have had an influence on the outcome of the elections? In the weeks leading up to the election, many skits pointed out the bumbling antics of the Paul Martin campaign, and while staying critical of Steven Harper, Mercer still hammered home some sharp observations about the seemingly inept approaches of the Liberal party.
I would be curious to find out just to what extent various medias, satires, and comedic approaches influence the average canadian voter...
any thoughts?
