Born in Canada Canadian. I've lost all hope for this country in the last few years.

As my mom who came here as an immigrant back in the mid 50s would say, "what a rich country, but so totally mismanaged". She worked in Canada for 34 years and never took a cent from any social program (welfare, EI, etc) and paid her taxes. That made her a better Canadian than some of the born in Canada dead beats.
