  1. no, its known that Gadafi was about to drop the green back and France also had interests in Libya not what you said
  2. Yes Shaw, lets arm our future enemies, you really learned from the first gulf war haven't you
  3. I highly doubt anyone here is okay with what Assasd is doing Rue and if you think we bombed Libya to free them from Gadafi you dont have the slightest clue about the world
  4. a neo con wanting to interject in a civil war for no purpose that would benefit Canada...what an odd concept! I see not much difference between the democrats and the reformer conservatives
  5. and what is your point? That wouldn't stop Germany if they really wanted war
  6. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make as I have never been a "liberal" and I have never been for getting involved in civil wars Also I am a left winger with affiliations to no party Now if you have nothing relevant to add, take off
  7. I never said it was for sure but time will tell if youre full of shit then
  8. Germanys calling the shots and making threats... even going so far as to say a collapse of the EU= war in Europe maybe thats grandstanding but to dismiss this outright would be foolish I don't understand how theres not even a small chance of war given the dire situation
  9. because we are preparing to respond to a civil war why the f*** do we think we should involve ourselves in a civil war?
  10. Canada is prepared to join international military intervention in Syria if sanctions and diplomacy fail = what we did in Libya
  11. Russia has to tell NATO to f*** off, we have no business even thinking of intervening in another country Luckily the U.S has no stomach to enter another conflict and the European countries have no stake in Syria Iran is an ally of Syria so they MIGHT think of trying to replace the Iranian friendly regime http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/canada-eyes-military-role-in-syria-if-diplomacy-sanctions-fail/article2242729/ Canada is prepared to join international military intervention in Syria if sanctions and diplomacy fail but says such a decision by the United Nations is neither imminent nor inevitable. The Harper government, however, announced Sunday it would keep a patrol frigate in the Mediterranean region until 2013 – a ship that gives Canada an asset to contribute to a naval blockade of Syria should the need ever arise.
  12. okay you know something, it makes no sense arguing with con bots
  13. You can't deny its not an issue since Harper tried twice in minority governments to repeal Same sex marriage and now that he CAN his supporters will see what a pussy he is
  14. why do we need a big military when we have NORAD and NATO? why do we need more prisons when crime rate is at its lowest point?
  15. you cant tell me harpers voters are gonna be happy with him not doing anythinh bout gay marriage now that he CAN repeal it the economy is an election issue and in 3 years if its not righted why should anyone vote conservative? was promising to support Israel an election issue?
  16. and you say this cause?
  17. yeah one way to keep cons voting for you is to ignore your huge religious base and ignore the issues of abortion, gay marriage that will get you re elected with a majority not
  18. Why would 2 parties with historical pasts merge? We're not desperate like the PC and Reformers were
  19. Liberals & NDP are left wing parties I think its very safe to assume their supporters do not like Harper If you're a real Canadian you will not like what Harper has done to this country
  20. You belittled the majority In fact 61 % of Canadians did not vote for the Cons, I can even assume that way they do not agree with this and here you are belittling the majority Enjoy these next three years because its the last you'll see of the conservative party being relevant in Canadian politics for a decade
  21. I've offered more proof than you have that most Canadians are against this all you can come up with are insults
  22. To hire unelected people and to pay them 90,000 a day is not democracy
  23. click on the comment section of these articles, you'll see you're in the minority BTW CTV and Globe and Mail are pretty conservative http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/TopStories/20110920/harper-government-cuts-consultant-ottawa-federal-spending-110920/ http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2011/09/21/flaherty-defends-hiring-cost-cutting-consultant_n_973233.html http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/tories-hire-90000-a-day-consultant-to-help-cut-federal-spending/article2172390/comments/ http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2011/09/20/harper-cuts-consultant.html
  24. What I don't understand is why does Israel not let inspectors inspect their nukes but they want inspectors to inspect Iran...do as I say not as I do? I know Iran and Syria are allies and Russia, Syria and Iran are allies so it kind of makes sense for Russia to be protecting Syria from NATO aggression
