I'm curious to read what people think about the WEF and their influence on this Canadian government. How have so many alumni from the WEF Young Leaders Program penetrated our Cabinet, and what does this mean for Canadian policy moving forward? What does this mean for Canadians in general?

I want to see a full probe into the influence of Schwab and the WEF. Global reset? I don’t think so. Take that creepy dystopian social credit digital totalitarianism and banish it forever.
Fully agree. I think any cabinet member affiliated with the WEF should be exposed publicly, and made to account for the craziness they imposed on so many this past two years. Would love to see them stoned or hung - like back in the day. Same goes for the media outlets that accepted payment to broadcast this narrative. Those people are the true scourge of society.

Yup, totally their choice.
But at some point, they're going to have to give up demanding that the rest of us cater to their fear addiction.

I'm not going to play the game anymore. No vote it is. I'm out!

So the vote is just another sham?
This short read seems to agree: https://steemit.com/politics/@dwinblood/left-vs-right-democrat-vs-republican-and-the-illusion

Wow! Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread so far. It's been interesting to read all the comments.
It's impressive how one question and a simple poll blossomed into what it did. However, now that we've gone to Gramma's house, are we ever coming back?
I'm starting to get the feeling that the original question and poll are so small picture that they are irrelevant in the grand scope. This is fine, but by not answering the question directly, I get the impression that the vote doesn't really matter at all. Is this what I am hearing? If so, why do so many people put so much energy into this strange game? Are there not better things for us to do with our time?

@Dougie93 What jobs have we done well, what jobs have we been unable to do, and what jobs need more attention currently?

What equipment are we talking about?

It's only because Canada is a nation of bourgeois fops who are protected by Americans, that you keep bringing up education as some sort of virtue.
The educated bourgeois fops of Canada are useless without the American men of honor who secure their liberties for them.
Interesting perspective. Are you saying that Canada does not have Canadians who secure its people's liberties? Or are you saying that American forces secure the liberties of the Canadians who secure its people's liberties? Seems like an onion of epic proportions!

Homo Sapiens Sapiens apex predator male; hyper tribal, hyper territorial; I gotta be me.
We are very creative, we created the three stage fission-fusion tritium boosted thermonuclear device.
Is that apex predator male who is hyper tribal and hyper territorial a product of his environment? If so, can that environment be changed? Seems improbable under the current system. Perhaps we should try a new approach. Nevertheless, I get the feeling that one uneducated or non-vote will not change the outcome.

Ah, the enemy. Do we really have a common enemy? If anything, the common enemy is the systems we create that protect ancient philosophies, slowing progress and limiting creativity.

And there goes the whole "peaceful transfer of power". Up in smoke.

You never actually got rich, all you had was the liquidity in hand, that is not wealth in of itself, wealth is owning assets which accrue value, money is not wealth, it's just IOU's
@Dougie93 Ah! Brings back child hood memories of the board game Monopoly.
Are you saying that the more one owns the wealthier one is? What happens when the few who own so much are challenged by the many who own so much less? Maybe the choice to own everything becomes unwise, no?

Currency is simply liquidity, but it is not equity in of itself. So for example I have money, but If I just leave it in the bank and do nothing with it, I don't own anything therein.
This is why when you have money, you invest it in various forms of equity, you have to find places to park your money.
@Dougie93 Money is merely a medium for exchanging value, no? It's value comes from what it can buy whether it's invested or not, no? Meaning, the more value it represents, the wealthier I am, no?
11 minutes ago, Dougie93 said:Think of it this way, lets say I give you a million dollars, but then you go to Las Vegas and blow it all on gambling, hookers and blow, were you ever actually rich?
Just because I choose to blow it on hookers and blow, doesn't mean I wasn't rich once - right? My poor decisions made me poor again.
Looping back, would it be a poorer decision to vote for someone you know nothing about, or who represents changing things you know nothing about, or to simply not vote at all?

Currency is not really an issue, currency is simply various forms of IOU's, it's not wealth in of itself, merely a vehicle for transfer.
@Dougie93 If large holdings of currency does not constitute wealth, then what does exactly? Our market economy seems to contradict that thought, no?

Education does not make a vote "safe". Educated people have made horrible things in the past and still doing today. Many people votes not because of it is the logical choice, they vote because they hate the opponent. They will vote 5 for the result of 2x2 if the opponents votes for 4.
@Altai Thank you for your input.
Would you agree that voting one way because you hate the opponent implies that the voter is somewhat educated?
I was hoping to get thoughts on whether one should cast an uneducated vote as opposed to not voting at all.

As I said, Democracy is not about solving any other problem other than staving off civil war.
Peaceful transfer of power. That's all it is.
The public deludes themselves into thinking democracy is some sort of universal tool for solving more complex problems? They are mistaken.
@Dougie93 "Peaceful transfer of power" to who? In our current paradigm, wealth determines power no? That said, would a change in the distribution of wealth shift power? Can crypto-currencies initiate this shift? I would be interested to hear your thoughts on all of these points.

The United Kingdom shall also end, it's just a matter of time until Scotland cedes from the UK.
Again, not the end of the world, Scotland simply becomes a New Zealand of its very own as well, England carries on as usual.
@Dougie93 So if there is no end to this game we play, then why play at all? One could argue it seems a bit ridiculous, no?

Doesn't effect anything, the only effects are by the MP's themselves. They swear the same oath I did, if they hold to their oaths, all is well, if they do not, all is lost.
@Dougie93 What do you mean by "all is lost" if MP's do not hold to their oaths?

I love how she tries to sway her readers that, in Canada, politicians cannot be bought. LMFAO!!
Also, if she knew anything about money, it's that if you give people control over its supply, then you give those people the ability to steal from others - through inflation, taxes, interest rates, etc.
It is sad to see so many politicians ignorant to the inner workings of our broken monetary system, and how influential it is in the decisions they make on behalf of their constituents. ?
