    Don't we already have a line to call about violent cultural practices. It's 911. A line from a Conservative political ad. " Is this the biggest problem we have to solve" Get back to talking about improving the economy. Oh right not a Conservative strong point at this time.

    I wonder how many people will call about the Roman Catholic church for the barbaric cultural practice of not allowing women to be priests?

    why don't we just get rid of anybody we don't like. As harper said they might look at expanding the reasons.

    If one of the other parties get a minority he'll go right away. This allows time for a new party leader to be picked and some breathing room for the governing party.

    harper wont stay very long if he gets minority but will stay long enough to allow the Con party time to get a new leader and allow that person to be PM before calling election. The other parties wont bring down the government in fear of ticking off the electorate by playing politics.

    The Conservative Government rarely admits one of its ministers made a mistake during non-election times. there's no chance in hell they'll do it during an election. Besides I don't think Alexander didn't say anything the Conservatives and their base don't believe.

    By your reasoning then Harper and the Conservatives cant take credit when Canada's economy is booming because oil prices are at $100 a barrel and China's economy is booming but they do anyway.

    Each party had their leaders put their spin on yesterday's recession numbers. The Liberals and the NDP also had their finance critics talk. (Goodale and Thompson) but where was the Conservative Finance Minister , Joe Oliver? You would think the Finance Minister would have something to say on the matter.
