  1. Please read my posts in this thread before throwing insults. In my response to Argus i basically in a broader way said the same things!!!!!! That said there are many in those regions who culturally are backwards who still get through and come over or our immigration policy needs changing and become more selective. You can't possibly deny that most men in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Afghanistan or Pakistan just as a few are not respectful of Women or do not believe in women's choice or equal rights or tolerance of other religions examples do you? If you do then you are in denial.
  2. Domestic violence is not limited to immigrants. Significant number of Canadian born also beat up their wives or children. It is true that percentagewise it may be higher among recent immigrants, however, the way you say it like all immigrants abusing their wives, beating their children and no Canadian born does that is false at best and a lie at worst.
  3. Unfortunately there is no party with a real chance of being elected to government who dares to address issues related to immigration. Which major party wishes to cut down immigration in less than half and be more selective on immigrants? to save Canada from being swamped by backward medieval cultures.
  4. It is true that a bad proportion of the population in that region may be as you described but you are totally incorrect to say almost every one. Those who plan to immigrate are the elite and mostly educated and not religious. In addition some countries more advanced than others. Middle east is not summarized in backward dictatorships like Saudi Arabia or Arab Emirates or Kuwait but there are some countries with more progressive people like Lebanon, Iran, Turkey, Morocco and Tunisia. You deprive them of a chance of better life and to escape from the culture they may not like or agree with. Don't take away a chance of freedom and equality from a suppressed woman who may be forced to wear hijab or happiness from a young man who may hate the culture with dreams of better life just because they happened to be born there. It is not like they had a choice. We owe it not to them but to humanity and basic moral principals and standards.
  5. No you lack understanding of the post or are blind to the facts stated in the post. The other provinces were much quicker to act. For example Quebec ha s started vaccinating general public already vaccinating 75 year olds up and other provinces like BC, Alberta, New Brunswick as well as Quebec announced long time ago that they have decided on spacing out the doses by months and hence getting their citizens vaccinated twice more or twice faster but Ontario always lagging behind and is disorganized especially in Toronto.. And a quick decision on AstraZeneca which arrived two days ago. If you don't want to give them to 65 and older so give them to 60 to 64 now. The original timetable as of yesterday was than people younger than 60 to start vaccinating after August not summer as you misstated. That is FIVE months from now for a big majority of population. They are about to make changes now (like deciding on spacing out doses) because we good people pressured them into changing their bad decisions and slow actions. People are dying and economy is diving so make the right decisions faster and act quicker.
  6. My coming over is not recent but my family and friends coming over is recent. As recent as last year and as I said they all had to go through interviews. Even in one recent case she had to fly to another country for interview. I am not as much pro-immigration as you think. In fact you may be very surprised to learn that there may not be too much of differences of opinion between you and me especially when it comes to selectivity and certain groups. However, I am of moderate type. I think we need to cut down on immigration but not totally stop it. Also we should select people based on individual merits not regions. For example I don't ban everyone from middle east but only those who do not have respect for women and other religions and cultures and do not believe in tolerance and equality. I don't choose based on skill color either as it is immoral and prejudicial. The size of hearts and minds is what matters to me. Hard to determine accurately but that is why we have interviews for immigrants. Banning all based on regions or race would be unfair and undemocratic to say the least. The era of South Africa and Rhodesia is over for a long time. The only way is forward not back.
  7. They have known for a long time that vaccines were coming and even criticized Federal government for vaccine late arrival but now that vaccines are arriving there is chaos in Ontario. They announced a timetable for vaccinating in Ontario in which 60 year olds and younger have to wait till August for vaccines in Ontario. Doug Ford who used to give an almost daily live interviews has been likely in hiding avoiding tough questions on vaccination delays in Ontario and unacceptable timetable. Ontario appears to be behind any other province in Canada. While most provinces are making quick decisions and taking actions Ontario has been giving mixed massages with respect to spacing out doses and AstraZeneca for those older than 65 while the vaccines arrived yesterday.. People are losing their lives and jobs. Every day that we delay in decision making and action more people would sadly die and more businesses will close and economic recovery will be more in distant future. Get your act together, make the right decisions and act quick Ontario.
  8. That is not true. I don't care who say these lies but I have real life cases of myself, my close family members and close friends who were able to immigrate to Canada (about a dozen real cases I witnessed with my own eyes) and they were ALL interviewed. Some even had to fly to another country to do that. The anti-immigration group though small in numbers but they are powerful and in my view are behind these misinformation. I too do not support 400,000 immigrants to Canada each year. I think a number like 150,000 per year would be much better for Canada to absorb new immigrants. Also I believe the selection of new immigrants is somewhat flawed. We need to give priority to those adopted to Canadian values (like tolerance, respect for women, equality, respect for religions) but we don't and also skills and prospects for future positive contributions to Canada should play a major role too and currently we do not do these well but unlike you I am not going to resort to lies to advance my cause.
  9. 30 seconds huh? 3 minutes for each application huh? Strings of lies and deception. Each applicant must go through interviews (sometimes more than one) and each interview lasting between half hour to full hour. On the top of that all other related matters I mentioned. You think like immigration officers twitch their nose and then stamps applications and all done? Seriously you have posted some credible posts here but with these incredible allegations you removed your credibility.
  10. The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) is recommending to delay the second doses of COVID-19 vaccines by up to four months. Quebec and New Brunswick and Alberta also had already decided on delaying the second dose. Ontario lagging behind as usual. https://www.abbynews.com/news/federal-panel-recommends-4-month-gap-between-covid-vaccine-doses-due-to-limited-supply/ “NACI recommends that in the context of limited COVID-19 vaccine supply jurisdictions should maximize the number of individuals benefiting from the first dose of vaccine by extending the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine up to four months after the first,” the committee said in a decision published Wednesday (March 3). The recommendation applies to all COVID-19 vaccines currently approved in Canada; Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and the newly approved AstroZeneca vaccine.
  11. So it appears Ontario is now may be following NACI. https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/ontario-won-t-administer-astrazeneca-covid-19-vaccine-to-seniors-final-plan-still-in-the-works-1.5330467 Ontario will limit the AstraZeneca vaccine to people under the age of 65 on the recommendations of the National Advisory Committee for Immunization (NACI), Ontario’s Health Minister confirmed, but the province is still finalizing the plan for who will be prioritized for that shot.
  12. It appears that Ontario too is coming down the wild horse eventually. https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/ontario-won-t-administer-astrazeneca-covid-19-vaccine-to-seniors-final-plan-still-in-the-works-1.5330467 Christine Elliott also said the province is looking for guidance from the NACI on delaying the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by up to 16 weeks in an effort to dramatically expand the number of people receiving their initial inoculation, and suggested those recommendations will be the final key Ontario needs to unlock its plan. “This could make a significant difference for Ontario in reducing hospitalizations and deaths,” Elliott told reporters at Queen’s Park. “As soon as we receive that [recommendation] we will be able to finalize the plan and get in front of you.” They (Federal, provincial and health authorities) eventually do the right thing but always too damn late days on in case of border closures and wearing masks months after I posted and demanded it here!!!!!
  13. And what is so special about Christian nations? All religions including Christianity have been used to commit crimes, hate and mass murder. Latest being massacre of muslim minority in Bosnia and Oh what religion did Hitler used to massacre the accused Christ killers?
  14. I say again it is either out of ignorance or you are lying that it takes only 3 minutes per immigration application. It took my application 2 years to be processed plus many months of both health and background checks and two interviews each lasting an hour and my cousin 3 years to be processed (no medical degree for her) and my other cousin about 2 to 3 years and latest case was my niece taking her 5 years. I have real life cases but what you have is only false baseless allegations.
  15. Geez, she was my niece lol. I am mixing up nieces and nephews. I edited it
  16. 3 minutes per application and it takes them years to process so they must be receiving billions of applications right? More than our planet's population. My niece who was an experienced head nurse had to wait 5 years in the lineup and pass various exams to demonstrate her ability in various fields including her own profession and English to eventually qualify last year and immigrate to Canada. As I said stop your campaign of misinformation and lies without any evidence or real life story..
  17. Amazon forest may be a better suited destination for you than Bhutan. They have more trees to climb up.
  18. May be depressing the wages is not as important issue as taking over their jobs.
  19. You made it abundantly clear who people of your kind are!!!!.
  20. Alberta too is likely to follow BC, Quebec and New Brunswick. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/alberta-covid-coronavirus-1.5933367 Those in Ontario may pay a very high price (with their lives) though for electing incompetent stubborn politicians to government. No word yet from Ontario so based on their two dose policy it takes months to vaccinate the most venerable in Ontario.
  21. You discredited yourself by above statement. Everything else you say is discredited too. You made a generalization and put all immigrants in the same boat as destructive. Is this immigration you have issues with or skin color? Do you have problems with immigrant from Germany and Sweden as well or just Africa, Asia and middle east?
  22. This is a clear misinformation or if purposely said it is a lie. It takes years for each application to be processed and each is being processed thoroughly and original documents and proof of each are investigated and each immigrant must pass both health and background checks. I know all these because I went through them myself so stop campaign of misinformation. I am talking about immigration not refugees.
  23. If you own a house and your investment has gone up a lot as in most Canadian towns and cities that is because of rapidly increasing population. You have never gone to a hospital or clinic where an immigrant health care worker made you well again? or called a taxi and he gave you a ride or or went to a restaurant and served by a smiling immigrant waitress or cook or eat delicious foreign food in a foreign restaurant or met a friend who was an immigrant like the other 30% of population whose companionship gave you joy If not then you are very lonely isolated person. Life is too short for that.
  24. Please don't misinform. France had banned the use of AstraZeneca for those aged 65 and over till yesterday. The ban was lifted just yesterday so how could France have shown very high immunity for AstraZeneca as of the date of your post 24 hours after lifting the ban!!!!!!! It may indeed proven to work but those incompetent health professionals cannot tell me i don't have a choice in what to put in my body. This is not a dictatorship like Russia or Iran.
