Perhaps it might be time to get back to our religious roots and involve more religion in government and in schools. It seems that the antireligion people have contributed to the ills our Canadian society now faces. The big problem is that the atheist do not see that their beliefs are religion too and they are forcing them upon people. They do not see themselves as hateful, but they do spread hate. They use science to prove their points. But according to science, religious belief contributes to less costs to the government and better society. Publishings by Harold Koenig, Michael McCullough, and David Larson in 2001 prove that religious people have lower rates of suicide, drug abuse, juvenille crime, divorce, and longer healthy lives. They survive longer after heart surgery than non-relious. They have less stress and there illnesses like stroke and cancer. Outher study says that faithful people are happier, have less disabilities, and contribute more volunteer time to society. Just think if we taught our children more about religion how much money society would save in crime, health, and other costs. antireligious people cost much to society. For instance those people who worship the earth and animals more than people. Like the people who forced the world to ban DDT. This kills 2 million people a year. Far more than terrorists or other religious fights.

Yes there are still racists in Canada. Even on this website there are some people who seem to be racist, like takeanumber and sweal. For this reason I will not openly discuss my religion or where I came from. But I find most people in Canada are very open minded and friendly.

This is only because USA has more freedom than anywhere else. Canada has a terrible record for not punishing people. Karla Holmoka is just a well publisized example. This happens everyday. According to statistics Canada, 58% of people who murder have previous records of violent crime. People who should have been put away for much longer. Canada would rather create more victims because they feel sorry for criminals.

Well I decided to "educate" myself. Morton or Flan (short for Tom Flanagan) are not in the leadership of the Federal Conservative Party and they aren't mormons either. You lied! and tried to make mormons look bad.

I agree with you Black Dog. It seems like there are many who want to take away religious peoples freedom of speech. They have as much right as anyone else to band together and have their voices heard. Takeanumber: "I'm not going to name names." This is because you have no names. You are caught in a lie! It is obvious that there are still many people in this country who are racist. I would like to ask you first which mormons are in the leadership of the conservative party, and second why you hate mormons. Also do you hate all religions like Hindus?

It is not good that this girl is allowed to go free after she tortured and killed other girls. I'm am very concerned about justice system in our country, especially after Air India. It is not good for people to get away with murder.
