There are good Taliban and bad Taliban. Relative terms of course. There will always be a place for Ultra-Conservatives like the Talban in a country like Afghanistan. The trick is to separate the inhumane killers who will accept no other way of life from those who are content to live in peace and can accept that other people have rights.
