A Canadian court today found John Felderhoff, former Chief Geologist and VP of Bre-X NOT GUILTY of insider trading. Felderhoff dumped all his shares of Bre-X and fled to the Bahamas shortly before the shit hit the fan. How is anybody ever going o take the Canadian securities market seriously again? I am just gob-smacked. PS: Since we have a balkanized provincial securities regulator instead of a Federal Securities Regulator, I am posting this under provincial politics. Has anyone else heard that the guy who jumped out of the plane has numerous wives and has been seen in Brazil? If this were true, he has staged his death and is doing just as well as Felderhoff, who if I understand properly, didn't even bother to attend his trial. Quote
