The causal argument has no parameters in this quote: "Theories are always for someone and for some purpose" All theories conform to this flimsy adage.Further, there is no such word (as far as I have heard) as 'fundational'. Perhaps you mean 'fundament' or base. As to the 'International relations theory' do you mean the principles of the CRF? If so, you tread on dangerous ground.
