jbg Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Did Muslims, as a group, publicly, forceably and unequivocally condemn 911? The answers to those questions give some very real, non-prejudicial reasons for Islam being considered not a religiion but a death cult.I believe that conclusion is obnoxious bigotry. Muslims' response to being asked to condemn 911 is "we condemn all violence (including that by Israel).Do not blame every Muslim for the statements made by the leaders of some Muslim organizaitons. And what does the average Muslim have to say? Not a heck of a lot if they want to keep their heads Precisely. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Always remember that when you are in the right you can afford to keep your temper, and when you are in the wrong you cannot afford to lose it. - J.J. Reynolds. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
normanchateau Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 And what does the average Muslim have to say? Not a heck of a lot if they want to keep their heads There was a time when Christians killed heretics by methods far slower and excruciatingly more painful than beheading. But that was 500 years ago and Christianity survived that dark period when Church-sanctioned, Christian extremists murdered Christian heretics and those of other religions. I suspect Islam will survive their extremists as well. Quote
