watching&waiting Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Volpe is an embarassment to the whole Liberal party and it has come to the point where if he thru his support to any of the other candidates, it would do them more harm then good. So the only way to resolve this would be to have the party force him out and then his supporters can go to the others without any od the negative impact. It is just that Volpe does not realise this and he seems to want to hang in until the bitter end. Being a conservative supporter I like the fact that Volpe is doing this and it brings a smile to my face when I see him again and again doing more harm then good to the liberal party as a whole. With a few more like him and we would see a total decimation of the liberals. Quote

jbg Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 It has nothing to do with signing up people without their knowledge, or people who are in fact dead. I believe strongly in honoring the dead, and expanding their role. It has nothing to do with the spouses and children of drug-company executives all somehow donating the maximum amount to his campaign. Many children, particularly brighter ones, feel quite strongly about politics. Who are we to shut them up, and quelch their interest? Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Always remember that when you are in the right you can afford to keep your temper, and when you are in the wrong you cannot afford to lose it. - J.J. Reynolds. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
