Nafta Is Wrong

NAFTA must be destroyed. It encourages economic aid to Mexico and withholding goods from Canada to balance the trades. An agreement should be made between the US and Canada, the only members of NAFTA that can hold there own in todays economic climate. Keep trade free between the countries with something to offer. NAFTA is like welfare for Mexico, it cheapens the whole continent.

I agree partially Ringo. I differ only in that we shouldnt destroy NAFTA, we should reform it. The recent break down of the WTO (World Trade Order) is only a sign of whats to come unless there is some change. Mexico while being a drag on our trade agreement, is developing. If there was a seperate system to help them evolve into a more established country they could, in turn, strengthen North America. NAFTA should exclude Mexico, but the US should pick up a new sytem to aid them

First of all, luigi, it's the World Trade Organization...

and mexico is about the second biggest problem in North America, the first being the government of the United States. no system this bassackwards will survive long.

Are we anti-american now? The only reason that NAFTA has survived this long and been as prosperour as it is is because of the US, faults and all. Undoubtedly when a resolution does occur, it will be because of the US. The debate isnt over the US government, its how the US government will resolve this issue in its usual way.

the US should throw saunctions on Mexico for the inability to stop drugs and illegal immigrants! Make the saunctions on stuff that is completely irrevelent, but on products Canada and the US lose money on. lol.
