Kim Gandy, president of the U.S. National Organization of Women, made the comment during a morning plenary session at the Palais des congres on rights in Canada and the United States. The discussion was part of the International Conference on LGBT Human Rights, an event affiliated with the First World Outgames. Other guest speakers at the session, attended by about 1,300 delegates, were Mark Tewksbury, former Canadian Olympic swimming medallist; Gene Robinson, Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire; and Irshad Manji, author of a controversial book concerning the liberal reformation of Islam.... http://www.canada.com/montrealgazette/news...5d-02b5f08dc914 Quote
