Okay, before anyone gets too upset about this post or thread, it's meant largely in fun.

Sometimes we just need to lighten up a bit.

The one thing I do find a bit alarming is the lack of knowledge when it comes to geography.

I mean who thinks Australia is France??? Or North Korea??? I don't care what the name on the map says, Aussieland stands alone in the middle of the sea, how could it be mistaken for anything else???

But then again, how necessary is knowledge of the world map when you're a NYC cabbie???

Here's someone having some fun exploiting just that......

So I found this site that has tons of videos on just about every topic you can name.

Mostly just silliness, but they have some really funny stuff on Bush.

Here's a few examples....

And just to balance the scales a wee bit for those who hate seeing Bush poked at in any way, here's a clip from some British show having a laugh at the expense of the Iraqi insurgents....

http://www.compfused.com/directlink/340/

And finally, to balance a touch more, some footage of rock-throwing Iraqi kids who get there come-uppance.

The cameraman is a bit of a sicko.

For the record, I think the spanking these guys were given should have been administered out in the open in front of their freinds. Also, I think the kick in the nuts by one of the troops was a bit much. Psychologically, I think a good spanking, on the ass, in front of their peers would be far more effective.

But hey, I wasn't there, and it wasn't my call to make.

So, again, this was just a bit of a "lighten up" post.

Hopefully everyone finds at least one video here that they like.

I'm sure everyone will hate at least one.

Enjoy.

EDITED TO ADD: Hmm. I just realized I spelt "geography" incorrectly in the thread title. It was a typo!!! Honest!!! I really DO know how to spell it!!! And I also know where France is!!! Really!!!

That is a good site! I won't be going back though as the pop ups made me sick though and I have some pretty good ware.

Anyhow, people are not tuned the way most of us are so it's understandable. The same guys and galls that couldn't  find Iran (Australia ) can probably make our heads swim in their area of expertise be it sportscalling or auto mechanics. And, probably laugh when they see a politician not knowing what a particular piece of equipment is called.

As for Bush I can also see where being on his tenth interview of the day getting toungue tied here and there and warrent that is not the norm as he seems to come off pretty good when explaining to the debating reff that the coalition is larger than portrayed. In fact, he could not ( due to reasons of privacy and secrecy) state how large the coalition actually was (over 90 nations) because most of them did not want to be seen as publically for the war as much of their business and anti war groups were against it.

If you know those guys let them know that the pop ups are degenerating their site so I won't be passing the links on though. And thanks for the laughs!

That is a good site!

I tried several times to click on it, but each and every time I get a "Forbidden by rating check" message.

No prob. Glad you had a good laugh.

FYI, I've NEVER had a pop-up at that site.

You might want to scan your compuuter.

Took your advice and scanned with a new program. Found the bugger. Now can watch in peace. Tks.

Dear PocketRocket,

Well done, a jolly good wheeze. The last one makes me wonder if cameramen, especially wartime ones, are actually twisted voyeurs who found their niche.

I though France was that angry province that wants to separate from Canada, located somewhere between Newfoundland and Winnipeg.

BIBLIO: Perhaps you have "Net Nanny" or something similar that's preventing you from accessing the site.

KRUSTY: No problem. I'm glad you found and fixed the problem.

T-BAG: I'm glad you had a good laugh. That's what the post was for.

BTW, if you look at where France is located on the map they were using, it seems they did indeed succeed in their bid for separation. The other side of the world is about as separated as you can get.

I particularly liked the terrorist who was upset about the subtitles.

Nothing like good British comedy.
