He painted the plane? Cool. Did Saddam shoot at it or not? Bet he didn't. Saddam is pretty smart and by then he was beggining to figure it all out.

No! For Godsake, you're either not good with the English language or....hic...

Let me use another word, see if that helps.

Conspiring.

He was conspiring about painting a plane UN colors to provoke an attack to facillitate the invasion.

Better?

We both know what's happening here though. You think because the plane painting didn't happen that it's not a serious act to suggest it. That's not how the world works.

Conspiracy to commit can be as damning as the crime itself.

Ever notice that the far-left gets wound up over the dumbest things?

SHOCKER!!!: A January 31/2003 memo has sufaced (months after the October 16/2002 Joint Resolution to use force against Iraq was signed into law) that claims that Bush planned to go to war with Saddam if he didn't abide by UN resolutions!

SHOCKER!!!: 72% of American troops want to be back home with their wife and kids within the next year!

And they claim that they live in the reality-based commuity?

"Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done, and President Bush, let them go to hell!" -- Iraqi Betty Dawisha, after dropping her vote in the ballot box, wields The Cluebat™ to the anti-liberty crowd on Dec 13, 2005.

"Call me crazy, but I think they [iraqis] were happy with thier [sic] dumpy homes before the USA levelled so many of them" -- Gerryhatrick, Feb 3, 2006.

What absolute and utter lying you are engaging in.

Both of those events you are misrepresenting - knowingly I have no doubt.

How do you manage to reconcile lies like this when the world is facing such serious issues?

Here is the obvious truth, in such stark contrast to the lies you have posted:

SHOCKER!!!A January 31/2003 memo has sufacedBush proposed painting US planes in UN colors to provoke an attack from Iraq, and thus provide an excuse for invasion

SHOCKER!!!72% of American troops polled believe the USA should leave Iraq immediately or within one year.

This is the truth. You peddle spin.

Did you actually read the memo?!?

"The start date for the military campaign was now penciled in for 10 March," Mr. Manning wrote, paraphrasing the president. "This was when the bombing would begin."

No matter what Saddam did, war was to start on the 10th of March! Bush is on record as saying 4 days prior to the "penciled in date" that he was trying everything to avoid war, he didn't want to be knowed as the "war" president.

Everything but adhering to the UN resolutions which was the justification for the invasion.

Ever get a disconnection notice? I'm sure the power company is doing everything they can to make sure you don't get disconnected. You only have to pay the bill and it doesn't happen.
