As it was reported in our press the Pentagon had to concur in the request of Kyrgyzian government to raise rentage for its military airdrome in Manas. And there is no surprise that Pentagon is going to increase US military contingent up to 3,500 servicemen in US military base in Gansi now. It will be done on account of US troops, removed from neighbouring Afghanistan. Under the pretence of ecologic improvement US military plan to enlarge ground installation of military base in Gansi and to modernize its flight strip. Thus, this military object will turn into US largest base in the region of Central Asia. Moreover, in the nearest future it is planned to increase base's personnel up to 7.5 thousand servicemen, moulding Gansi into one of the main strong points for possible military operations, directed against countries of this region.
