Our "sensitive" war tactics

Recommended Posts

Mark Steyn is losing more and more of my respect everyday.

I'd love a return to rape and pillage wars, I mean, who needs civilized behavoir.

Being culturally sensitive is a way to win over hearts and minds, which is what we are doing in Afghanistan and the Americans in Iraq. Saying we need to stop being sensitive and just go to a blitzkrieg destruction of everyone is rather pathetic.

I definitely support our involvment and increased involvment in the middle-East. They need us. Some what of a modern day Kipling's "white man's burden." But what makes us more civilized and better societies than them? Our ability to respect human life and dignity, and rape and pillage campaigns against them destroy our crediability in that regard.

The enemies are terrorists, not citizens. It needs to be a police action more so than a military blitzkreig.
