Wait a minute...I've forgotten one very crucial fact here. The current sexual assault idiocy involves a Liberal. When it's the Liberals, it's time to tack responsibility for one's own actions.

When it's a Conservative, well....you know...let's just forget about it. Kids will be kids. The employee didn't reflect the intentions of the party.

Once again, partisan hypocrisy at it's worst.

"Liberals...very favorite taunt: Hypocrisy! Hypocrisy is the only sin that really inflames them. Inasmuch as liberals have no morals, they can sit back and criticize other people for failing to meet the standards that liberals simply renounce. It's an intriguing strategy. By openly admitting to being philanderers, draft dodgers, liars, weasels and cowards, liberals avoid ever being hypocrites." -- Ann Coulter

I wonder how many people here pay attention to her. She makes for good talk radio. Heard her on Sean Hannity a bunch of times.

"If in passing, you never encounter anything that offends you, you are not living in a free society."

- Rt. Hon. Kim Campbell -

“In many respects, the government needs fewer rules, but rules that are consistently applied.” - Sheila Fraser, Former Auditor General.

I saw this on our local Shaw Cable Saskatoon channel. I saw the repeat. It was bizarre. Are the Liberals really that arrogant that they feel they do not have to use *67, that they wouldn't get caught? Axworthy claims that someone snuck in to his headquarters and made the call. Huh?

CTV Newsnet briefly reported it, but I think the rest of the MSM ignored this story.

Velacott is despised by the left over here because he is socially conservative. That being said, he works hard, does a good job, and is generally well-liked by his constituents. It never ceases to amaze me how worked up the left gets when a social conservative dares to go into politics, yet I just finished watching Jack Layton at a rally in BC, and the highly contoversial Svend Robinson was standing directly (to Layton's right) behind Layton.

Amazing.

"Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done, and President Bush, let them go to hell!" -- Iraqi Betty Dawisha, after dropping her vote in the ballot box, wields The Cluebat™ to the anti-liberty crowd on Dec 13, 2005.

"Call me crazy, but I think they [iraqis] were happy with thier [sic] dumpy homes before the USA levelled so many of them" -- Gerryhatrick, Feb 3, 2006.
