NAME REMOVED Posted December 15, 2023 Report Posted December 15, 2023 I was watching a number of 9/11 videos. What I have become obsessed with is the "jumper" videos. Imagine jumping to your death from 1,500+ feet? One would reach terminal velocity. Then again, it is better to jump, than to die in a fire. If I ever had to commit suicide, I would like to go that way. Find a very tall building and jump. I would call 9-1-1 just so I could give fair warning so that I do not land on anyone below, or make it traumatic. Then i would wait until people could film me, and then jump. I figure I would lose consciousness before I hit the ground. At any rate, it would not matter, as my body would be like a squashed tomato. That is how I would like to go out. I would have loved to be on Flight 93, instead of those poor people who had everything to live for. I could have fought the hijackers off, instead of them. Quote

Am quite confident the speed reached would be the last thing on the person's mind. On 12/15/2023 at 7:33 AM, DUI_Offender said: Then again, it is better to jump, than to die in a fire. Both are horrible options. You're literally comparing a beheading with a dull knife, to being tortured with a red hot iron. Ones just longer, but both suck immensely. Ever drop a watermelon from a height? I don't understand how its not traumatic for any witnesses, to hear the loud thud, and brain matter spraying out dozens of feet from the point of impact. Worse even if you land horribly, and survive long enough to agonize until you bleed out. Just like how fearless I would be if a gun was pulled on me. Until I was staring down the barrel of one, and froze. Had knives pulled on me, and froze, not wanting to escalate, but also to keep the distance, as if it would help with a gun out. Not sure what you seek to get from posting a thread like this. Your end game. Pity? Attention? Both? Quote

This is a misconception: Falling from height: Lethality: 93.4% Time: 4.56 min Agony (out of 100): 17.78 Structure Fire: Lethality: 73.0% Time: 52.5 min Agony: 91.5 source: https://lostallhope.com/suicide-methods/statistics-most-lethal-methods Burning to death is the most agonising way to die. Drowning and being beheaded are also extremely agonising. It also takes longer to die, so the pain is extended. In both cases, one will die. So why stay in the building, when not only is the agony far less from jumping, but you will die very quickly. The quickest way to die, with the least amount of agony is using explosives. This method is very popular with Arabs that reside near Israel. A gunshot to the head is relative devoid of agony. Jumping underneath a speeding train is also a relatively painless way to die. 23 minutes ago, Perspektiv said: Not sure what you seek to get from posting a thread like this. Tell that to people who messed up with the timing and lost limbs. That, or just Google what your hands will look like holding onto a crappy pipe bomb too long or fireworks. I have heard of tons of people surviving those hard to survive deaths. On 12/18/2023 at 8:47 AM, DUI_Offender said: Jumping underneath a speeding train is also a relatively painless way to die. Again, I disagree. You mess up on where your body aligns, and will be left severely maimed, but screaming in pure agony with limbs missing. I mean, I have seen some pretty f-ed up deaths, but you would be surprised at the level of damage a human body can sustain while you're still breathing and agonizing, and still striving for minutes until you bleed out. Only certain thing, is you will traumatize everyone watching, for life. If they pull joy in that, they hopefully get the death to be painful and lengthy, as its only fair to deal with a bit of karma for selfishly disregarding others. Quote

Then argued with "statistics", and are getting angry at someone not taking your thread seriously, when they disputed them. I could literally post about wiping my butt with paper towel, because I prefer thick and quilted than cheap toilet paper, and would have been far more beneficial to what you posted. Sounds like you should take your own advice on this one. Quote

You chose to post this thread. Its garbage. You should be happy a person replied to it. Its a pathetic joke otherwise. I made it more of a joke, only. You're welcome.
