reason10 Posted June 3, 2023 Report Posted June 3, 2023 You are NOT going to believe this. It belongs in the I'M NOT MAKING THIS SHIT UP bin. https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-woman-shoplifting-when-her-car-two-children-inside-burst-flames Florida woman was shoplifting when her car with 2 children inside burst into flames, police say A Florida woman was shoplifting inside a retail store when she left two children unattended in a vehicle that burst into flames, police said. Alicia Moore, 24, an Orlando resident, is charged with aggravated child neglect and arson, FOX Orlando reported. On May 26, Moore parked her car outside a Dillard's department store at the Oviedo Mall and left two children "who could not care for themselves" inside the vehicle, authorities said. She then went into the store and began shoplifting with a man, police said. After about an hour, Moore left the store and found her vehicle engulfed in flames. She dropped the stolen items before leaving the store, the news report said. Here's the negligent !diot who did this. The Oveido Mall is located a few miles north east of Orlando and Winter Park. It's actually one of the few malls that is still open in that area. Let me count the ways this is so unbelievable. 1. This bee itch left her kids in a car in a parking lot in this Florida heat. Right away, that's a crime. Child neglect. 2. She does this in order to be able to commit a crime (Shoplifting) and it never occurred to her to maybe leave the kids with either family or a sitter. 3. Nobody has figured out how a parked car caught fire. (I'm thinking that she probably left the car running so the air would stay on and the kids wouldn't burn up. That would definitely cause the engine to overheat. Yes, a fire could result, if this happens over a period of time.) 4. Of course, Central Florida (what journalists in the last century used to refer to as the I-4 Corridor) is definitely a BLUE section. You can tell that, with stupid criminals such as this. Quote
