southerncomfort Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 See, I can play the same game where I just paste my previous statement into a new thread. How original I am! At least this little game is keeping you from your continual attacks. How is any of what I said a personal attack? I can provide multiple examples of both your violent temper and your incoherent posts.... normanchateau Posted December 7, 2005 Author Report Posted December 7, 2005 I'm with Harper on this one, I've seen first hand what pot can lead to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you seen what a needless criminal record WILL do to a person? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It goes beyond a criminal record. Of the 30,000 Canadians annually charged with simple possession, 5% actually go to jail. Harper actually supports this bizarre state of affairs which began in the 1920's when little evidence existed, one way or another, but now the evidence is in. Harper's position is clearly not evidence-based. To support the legalization of an unequivocally harmful substance like alcohol while favouring jail terms for a less harmful substance is completely irrational. Yet Harper chose British Columbia to announce that effectively, this indeed is his position. It appears to be largely tradition-based rather than evidence-based, i.e., a 1920's tradition. Quote
Biblio Bibuli Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 If the Dutch could cultivate it, this would be a source of government revenue rather than sending the revenue to foreign countries. The Fraser Institute advocates legalization and taxation of cultivation in Canada <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Dutch don't cultivate it bacause they don't want to piss off a bunch of piddly countries in Europe, yet the Fraser Institute doesn't give a sh*t if they piss off the United States of America? That'll be the day! Preston Manning would be out of there in a heartbeat. shoop Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 SC, I hear you, but I feel as if this is a more effective strategy. Normie's goal is to bring down the board by hammering time after time on the same theme. I have heard he has done it before. Eventually he will cross the line and Greg will bar him. Regardless he'll crawl back into his hole after January 23rd.... It wasn't, I didn't see any personal attacks, that type of reply along with others is designed to stir it up and bait, don't fall for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quote
