Canuck E Stan Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Charest health-care reforms welcome Look who thinks the "scary" plan from Ralph is a great idea. Won't be much of an issue from 25%+ of the population come election time. How are the Federal Liberals going to stop this "third way" idea with this kind of endorsement? Martin is screwed: I am sure he personally would like to see some movement in this direction but the he knows his only hope of re-election depends on him attracting NDP supporters that are scared of a Harper gov't. shoop Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 That's great for the Conservatives. Gives them a valid, serious, reason to work with the Bloc. They can't. As soon as 1995 I knew we would have two-tier health care by around 2010. The Liberals starting cutting healthcare in 1995 to balance the budget, they ignore enforcing rules in Quebec not to anger Quebec, they allow private healthcare to grow here in the meantime, and the Supreme Court rules private healthcare is consitutional. If anyone should be blamed for the healthcare failure, it is those like Chretien and Martin who initiated the decline by cutting the budget in 1995. Anyone who still really believes the Liberals care about healthcare need to pick up a history textbook. Quote "Those who stand for nothing fall for anything." -Alexander Hamilton
