Argus Posted December 11, 2020 Report Posted December 11, 2020 Don't blame covid. It's been a steady increase since 1993. During that time the wait time from a GP referral to seeing a specialist has increased by 184% (from 3.7 weeks to 10.5 weeks) and then the time for treatment by that specialist has increased by 116% (from 5.6 weeks to 12.1 weeks). Health care continues its slow deterioration without anyone remarking much about it, much less doing anything. https://fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2020 Quote "A liberal is someone who claims to be open to all points of view — and then is surprised and offended to find there are other points of view.” William F Buckley
