Good morning, class, and welcome to The Conservative University of Canada, or, as I like to call it, Con U.

As you know, we Conservatives have lagged behind the Liberals when it comes to developing think tanks to produce winning election strategies. And so, here at Con U, we've drawn on the best Conservative minds Canada has to offer these days in order to develop our unique curriculum.

Stabbing Our Leader In the Back, 100:

In this course, we'll learn how to issue press releases from within our own party calling on Stephen Harper to resign. Calling on our leader to quit just a few months before the next election is a winning strategy, which will inspire the confidence of Canadians in our ability to work together.

Confiding in the Liberal Media, 103:

An advanced-level course providing invaluable instruction on how to go "off the record" with reporters at pro-Liberal media outlets like the Star, Globe and CBC in order to complain anonymously about what a lousy job Stephen Harper is doing and that the next election is already lost. Canadians are impressed by whining Conservatives who lack the courage to identify themselves.

uh-huh.

There is truth to this. You have to wonder whether some of the people in the party are trying to deliberately sabotage it, because sometimes it sure seems like. (see Carole Jamieson, who's probably teaching 101 and 103.)
