From what I understand, the N.B. department of natural resources has leased out two-thirds of its crown land to foreign interests and have allowed them to clear cut the forests.

Clear cutting causes so much destruction in its wake it should be banned immediately, throughout the entire country. Forest management via select cutting is the only way to go.

Also, is this what we have to look forward to in the future , the wholesaleing of Canada's resources ?
