In the next fifteen years, China will be the biggest superpower in the world. The US is in delcine.

And as I take man's last step from the surface, for now but we believe not too far into the future. I just like to say what I believe history will record that America's challenge on today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow. And as we leave the surface of Taurus-Littrow, we leave as we came and god willing we shall return with peace and hope for all mankind. Godspeed the crew of Apollo 17.

I realise that we are told this by the media 24/7 about hwo china will be the next world superpower in 15 years, but we are told many lies by the media 24/7 simply because fear is almost as good at selling things as sex.

My second point woudl be that China is not yet at a point nor will be at a point where it can sustain or support the type of growth it is going under for a long period of time. Point 3 would be China's population, these 15 year aarguements assume China;s population will continue to grow, unfortuantely, as people move to cities they have less babies and less ability to support a big family, menaign population will not grow as your firendly nieghborhood, CBS news predicts. Beyond that what happens when a population gets a taste of freedom? As China modernizes it will force the state to rlinquish control, or force the peopel to take it. Either way there wil be Civic disturbances in china that will dsirupt growth and a new government will create chaos, and uncertanty (worthless money). I am not saying this will happen tomorrow but don't be suprised if in 15-20 years China is not state controlled. this transition would require, rebound or recovery time, and agian hamper China from passing the United States. Next While a country like China modernizes to this age are they simply preparing themselves, for a world that will change by the time they have modernized. Next the number of Chinese people with HIV has jumped 140 per cent over the past year. I don't know about you but if it continues at that rate, eventually China will be forced to screw the world to win a war and not fight the world. But this is Another indication of domestic problems within China that will eventually inhibit their growth. Before World War one Germany was the risign power the country predicted to supase England and take the center stage, and there were many superficial indicators to speak for Germany, but they were just that Superficial. I belvie the same can be said for China, America may decline from number 1, but I belive Power has a better chance of reurning to a United Europe, and europe is not yet a country.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand

This will turn into the next Cold War between China and the USA.
