Smallc Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 I'm just wondering what the impression are of some that have been there. I'm headed there in less than a month. Quote
msj Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 You know, I went to San Fran, France, Germany, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam last year and really look forward to this fall when I can go somewhere again. But you are taunting me with all these questions about these beautiful places! Anyway, never been there so look forward to hearing others experiences. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Smallc Posted January 8, 2015 Author Report Posted January 8, 2015 I'll be sure to let you know. I'm only going for 5 days with a 1 days stop in Vancouver on the way home. It'll be my first time outside of Canada (I've been to every province but 1) and the US (I've been to most states from North Dakota West). I'm looking forward to it. Quote
Smallc Posted February 20, 2015 Author Report Posted February 20, 2015 It was amazing, by the way. Quote
guyser Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 How amazing? We need stories of debauchery , drunken women...anything pleaase and thank you Quote
Smallc Posted February 20, 2015 Author Report Posted February 20, 2015 I didn't spend time with time with too many drunken women, other than my own fiancee. We don't usually drink, but we actually drank quite a bit. The food in the buffet at the resort (Holiday Inn Resort San Jose Del Cabo) was so so, but the one operating restaurant (they're at about 80% yet because of the September hurricane) had an amazing Mexican lunch menu and rotating dinner menu. The pools were pretty good, and the beach was beautiful, though you can't swim it. I've seen humpback whales before, but I've never seen so much breaching. It was also my first time swimming in salt water or snorkelling. I'll be sure to get my own, better equipment for the future. Quote
