The Tories keep saying they have created a million jobs since 2008 and that Canada economy is the best of the G7, well the media looked into those statements and found that yes, on the jobs BUT does that count the foreign workers, which I read once, that 500,000 are working in Canada as far as the economy, Canada comes in at #4. Topaz - what do you count as a foreign worker - someone who does not have their citizenship? Slippery slope there Topaz - perhaps you can provide a link that details your "concern".

Canada is first in the G7 if you look at straight job numbers, but fifth in terms of the employment rate.

Well, with many things the Tories boost about it there is usually half truths. The fact of jobs seem to be true but are those jobs, Canadian filled- jobs or just jobs filled by anyone, from anywhere??

Unless it's a typo, it's pretty poor analysis to use data from 2Q 2008 to critique the statement that Canada had the strongest growth since July 2009.

The article does show how poorly Obama has managed the us recovery though. Those employment numbers are abysmal... He's turning USA into France..
