The magic of the season came to the US Senate this week, via Twitter.

It all started with Rand Paul participating in a Festivus tradition called "The Airing of Grievances" on Twitter. One of his grievances: that Cory Booker doesn't retweet him often enough.

Booker did not take kindly to this, and challenged Paul to another Festivus tradition: "the Feats of Strength".

Paul challenged Booker to join him in reforming Mandatory Minimum Sentencing instead.

Booker agreed, provided that marijuana law reforms are on the table too. Rand Paul agreed, since he has written a bill on marijuana law reform.
