Water bombers can't fill up here: St. John's mayor

ST. JOHN'S, NFLD. - The mayor of drought-stricken St. John's has asked provincial water bombers to stop using the city's water supply when fighting forest fires.

While it may indeed pose a risk to the water; attempting to stop the firefighters using the best resources available to stop a fire is debateable and could be very dangerous.
