The Terrible Sweal Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Some things leap out ... 1-The author's inability to refrain from a gratuituous slam at 'socialism' suggests he harbors certain political biases which detract from the value of his opinions. 2-He lists problems but offers no solution. Such shallowness suggests a polemical, rather than informative or consultative, purpose to the article. And as polemic it is unoriginal. Quote
maplesyrup Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 It is written by a doctor who has a vested interest in making a lot of money out of the health care system. He is in a conflict of interest position, and does not understand the meaning of the word "ETHICS". Why waste our time with this tripe? Americans would love to have our Canadian health care system, and may get it when Bill Clinton is appointed US Surgeon General in 2008 . Quote An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don't. Anatole France
