I think that the vulture should be given death by stoning (link to article, excerpts below). As much as I admire the Saudis this is a bit bizarre.

Vulture tagged by Israeli scientists flies into Saudi Arabia ... and is arrested for being a spy

A vulture tagged by scientists at Tel Aviv University has strayed into Saudi Arabian territory, where it was promptly arrested on suspicion of being a Mossad spy, Israeli and Saudi media reported Tuesday.

Although these tags indicate that the bird was part of a long-term research project into migration patters, residents and local reporters told Saudi Arabia's Al-Weeam newspaper that the matter seemed to be a 'Zionist plot.'

Haha, that's funny. Technically though, placing tiny cameras or other sensors on birds or other animals wouldn't be too hard. Perhaps a bird that has a migratory pattern that periodically takes it over enemy territory could actually prove moderately useful for gathering intel.

I suggest giving it an Islamic trial anyway.

These people's paranoia just doesn't stop (link to full story, excerpt below):

Iranian news agencies say a 55-year-old American woman has been detained on espionage allegations after she was found with "spying equipment."

Reportedly, that may include a microphone or some other electrical device hidden in her teeth.
