jbg Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 In the interests of "peace of earth, goodwill to man", how about a generous gift of a significant number of pigs, live-dropped into Mecca for the Hajj pilgrimage? At this time of year we should be generous to those less fortunate, many of whom live in lands that supply pilgrims to the Hajj. Maybe we can thus teach them agriculture and to be more self-sufficient. Christmas livestock gifts defended by charities (link) International charities with livestock donation programs in developing countries are defending the practice after one organization criticized it. A growing number of Canadians are choosing to donate goats, chickens, pigs and other animals for families overseas instead of giving gifts at Christmas. But according to Engineers Without Borders, the money would be better spent on more sustainable long-term projects. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? jbg Posted December 8, 2010 Author Report Posted December 8, 2010 These posts of yours are just garbage. Give us the good jbg. Why would you be against giving hogs to impoverished Muslims? They could learn animal husbandry that way. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." guyser Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) Why would you be against giving hogs to impoverished Muslims and Jews ? They could learn animal husbandry that way. Is it still funny? Edited December 8, 2010 by guyser Quote
jbg Posted December 8, 2010 Author Report Posted December 8, 2010 Is it still funny? Yes. Even if the hogs were unleashed in a synagogue (and assuming the congregants adhered to Kashrut) there would be no stampede and no panic. Parasitic charities do not like the live stock idea as compared to CASH - how can they skim a goat or chicken and get their share? Quote
Oleg Bach Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 If I was poor and hungry I don't need a well dressed representative wearying Tilly adventure gear showing me how to purify water...I want a damned goat. Quote

Oleg Bach Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 ok, just asking. I would like my hog now - cooked nicely with an apple in it's mouth...and the skin must be crispy and expertly seasoned....jokes aside...There is a problem with our ultra rich _ If you say to them _" I could not get to the interview because I did not have a subway token" _ They don't understand - "How could someone not have three bucks?" - The same goes for common people who do not understand that in third world nations - they don't want womans lib - or a new school - or a computer ...or a cure for aids...they want a supply of milk ...and some occasional meat and eggs ........THE REST WILL TAKE CARE OF IT SELF.
