Alright, I'm guessing that currently about 50% of Canadian's want to keep the traditional definition of marriage, 55% are supportive of capital punishment, and about 40% some what pro-life.

Does anybody else think that Paul Martin is making a huge error of making gay marriage, abortion, and capital punishment a huge issue. Under Jean Chretien, the answer was the same, their will be a free vote. Chretien was elected to three straight majority governments.

Harper will probably win, Paul Martin has cut off any prospects of wooing right of centre liberal's back to the fold, and is only appealing to radical abortionists, and gay rights activists which make up about 20% of the population at best.
