It amazes me that my Jamaican wife learned in elementary school, not only all the Canadian provinces but also all the CPR stops through the country including Moose Jaw,Regina, Melville.WinnipegWaWa Soiux Lookout and Capreol.

Just asI learned all the American states and capitals in grade 8. Americans don't learn Canadian details for the same reason we don't learn details about Jamaica, which has a facsinating history, but it doesn't matter to us.
