punked Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 (edited) "In her affidavit, Rosemarie Hayes, director of Messaging and Collaboration Services, Workplace Technology Services (WTS), states that at the beginning of May of this year, her department requested that backup tapes of government e-mails created prior to May of 2004 be expunged from the system. The e-mails are the subject of a legal proceeding and as such should not have been deleted, according to the government's own guidelines." That election was perfectly timed wasn't it? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/nation...article1220076/ Edited July 17, 2009 by punked Quote

madmax Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 He however can not destroy documents during an ongoing investigation. That is what got Conrad Black into trouble, and a nice jail cell. Quote
Craig1 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 That is what got Conrad Black into trouble, and a nice jail cell. if anyone is to blame it would be the courts who falsely acused and convicted these three, not the Liberal party or Cambel. Like I said Cambel can sell any public asset he wants, and if what you implying is true allot of politicians would be seeing jail time, leaks about selling of public assets hapen all the time. Quote

That is fine, we are not talking about the sale. We are talking an investigation were someone may have deleted or ordered deleted evidence during an on going investigation and election. I don't care about the rail cars I do however care about evidence tampering that is a serious crime. Quote

It's the justice system who did not order those tapes 5 years ago and who convicted those with out all the facts. Something does stink about it, if there is a cover up im sure its not Cambel or the Liberals, fingers should be pointed at the Lawyers, the crown, the judge and the RCMP for not doing their job, and possibly falsely accusing 3 inocent people. No one has been convicted of anything, the issue here is the destruction of evidence pertaining to a criminal investigation. A crime in itself. Who did it and why is very importand or would you rather have all government business conducted in secret with no records at all of what took place. And I'm saying everyone is entitled to a fair trial. You cant just convict someone with out finding all the facts (rest of the tapes), charges should be droped Then; The RCMP then can choose to do a thorough investigation and re try the case Edited July 18, 2009 by Craig1 Quote
