Oleg Bach Posted June 26, 2009 Author Report Posted June 26, 2009 Went to Karaoke tonight 7 and heard some guy sing Wild Horses like it should be done., followed up by Steamy Windows belted out by some foxy gal. When I used to play the streets in the core of the city - and did covers - Wild Horses was one of my big money makers....it's so good when you do something well - it's even better to see someone do it even better - I just loved the blessing that came down when the mentioned kid sang---extraordinary ----an old Jazz player once said to and upstart who just landed a record deal - I listed from the back of the line at the convenience store--- The old guy said "There is a person around the corner who is not even doing it that is better than you - so cool your jets" Most assume the the greatest talents are the once we see that are sponsored and supported by the main stream - I have seen world class artist preform in their basements - brillian players and singers - that the world will never know.
