I'd just like to know what languages people here speak fluently.

What's defined as fluent? I can hold my own in conversation in French, but I don't think I could write a doctoral thesis in the language.

As the subtitle says. Self-assessment, meaning according to your own understanidn f the meaning of the word. Sure it will vary for different people, but at least it could give us a rough idea.

While I can converse - in varying degrees of ability - in several eastern European languages - I am fluent in none - including English.

However, according to the federal hiring system I am a unilingual (useless, unhireable anglo bastard) person for all intents and purposes.
