Molly Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) The average federal riding in Canada has about 60,000 voters. How could any candidate possibly answer each one individually, even less on the specific issue of interest to a particular voter? 60,000 voters... but only a few dozen (at most) who would actively seek them out to get their take on a particular question. (And of those, probably half are considering volunteering to help with the campagn.) Edited May 5, 2009 by Molly Quote "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" — L. Griz Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 NWT is the richest jurisdiction (per capita) in Canada...the main reason they have to be subsidized is because they don't get to keep any of their money because they aren't provinces. Provinces are a nuisance! The real waste of money! However, it is because of the existance of provinces that allowed all you European Boat people to squat on the land a plunder all the resources with a dumb smirk on your face If you have the nerve to complain then you should be put back on that boat and shipped back overseas Quote

Shipping us back might very well put you back in a mosquito infested tent with a 30 year life span. Can't have that now, can we? Have a great day, Borg Quote
Oleg Bach Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 What do you expect? Those that run for politics are common glory seekers - they are the same guys and girls in highschool who were abused nerds who lust for power and noteriety...experience and a sincere will to serve the public does not exist in them. They had two choices - either go to Hollywood or Ottawa.. Or is that Bollywood and Mississaga? Quote
