willy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I just stopped off to have a look at the Liberal home page. "The Martin government is paving the way for an era of cleaner energy with the announcement of $1.1 million to help develop a "hydrogen highway" for fuel cell vehicles to travel between Vancouver and Whistler." Why is this a good idea for the federal government to invest in? After the spending spree the Ministers were on in Quebec today, and the fact they are digging new lakes in Sask; what else will they buy before they give money back to the provinces and cut taxes? playfullfellow Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Sorry bud, you probably won't see the Liberals give anything back to the average Joe out there. They have a few extra of our hard earned dollars. They have some extra bucks they can spend on inane things and they have to make it look to world as they are the leaders in this Kyoto crap and show the enviromentalists that they care. Plus Ottawa just doesn't trust the provinces to do the right thing for their own population. The provinces may actually give money back to people. Quote
